Skills-Based Competitions
Pitch, Hit & Run
The Davidson Parks and Recreation Department teams up with the town of Cornelius to offer a fun baseball and softball competition. Typically held at McEver Fields, the event occurs annually in April or May. Prizes are awarded in four separate age groups: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14.

Hot Shots Challenge
The Cornelius PARC and Davidson Parks and Recreation Departments are proud to bring you the 4th Annual Hot Shots Challenge!
Basketballs will be available for use, participants are not permitted to use their own ball, and tennis shoes are required. Prizes will be awarded to the top three participants in each age group. Boys and girls will compete separately in each division.
Registration for this event is free and is open from February 18 - March 22 at 12 p.m. Space is limited and registration will take place on a first-come, first-served basis. All participants must be registered in order to participate. Walk-up registration will only be accepted if space allows.

Use of the Town of Davidson athletic facilities requires reservations. Priority will be given to programs sponsored by Davidson Parks and Recreation. All reservations and use of fields will be on a first-come, first-serve basis. For reservations, call 704-892-3349.
